The Greywatch

Forget what I said about 4 taking awhile, it was a ridiculous amount of time to finish this one. I'm proud of this chapter, though, I really like how it turned out.

This was random, and I started writing it when I played FFVII again for the first time in... months, at least. Good times. I wish I felt like writing something longer about this, and maybe I will in the future, but I guess I'm okay with putting something out there about one of the most significant parts of their lives.

My thoughts on Since the Fall of Man and why I'm writing it.

Well, this one took a while. Also, I'm a bad person.

Something started last year but just finished, because I wanted to finish something tonight.

Something old from last year.

The previous chapter split into two, so this makes the third chapter.

...Yeah, I don't know.

I saw and wanted brotherhood. That's available to me.

I saw and wanted a deeper friendship than any other seen before, where the bounds of what is done and what is felt goes deeper than ever before. That is available to me.

I saw and wanted tangible, physical expressions of love and sacrifice. That has been shown to me.

I saw something I couldn't understand and wanted it more than I ever wanted anything. That is what's in front of me.

I saw acts of unspeakable goodness and courage and discipline, things I wanted to do but realized I could never achieve by myself. That is in front of me.

I saw people I wanted to be respected by, loved by and more than that, I wanted to be like them. That is who is in front of me.

I want to be liked, respected, loved and held most dear to them who I respect and love most. I have that.

Went over time limit again, of course. (More like 566 words, now.) And man, I write Aerith and it still turns out to be about Leon.

I totally went over the time limit. There's no way I can write 1100 words in under five minutes.

The updated version, with new sections, edited sections, completely cut out sections... This is a whole lot cleaner, that's for sure; it actually sets up the ideas I want.

Did I mention I've been dreaming of this story forever?

Hot off the press and it probably shows. I do like this one, though. I've dreamed of this fic forever.

Kingdom Hearts, WIP, the story of the survivors from Hollow Bastion.

Yeah... I wrote something for Storm Hawks. I rock like that. Ha ha.

First draft, thus completely unedited, unbeta-ed and happened after midnight.

So... I really have no idea where I'm going with this. I'm enjoying it, but yet... No plans for where it's going to go.

This is something like the opening scene for an original idea I have; I still don't know where I'm going with it so we'll just have to see. Very angsty stuff, but the character types I'm using are some of my favourites. I hope people enjoy, anyway.
